Jose Arevalo-Rivers

Jose Guillermo Arevalo-Rivers, Is originally from El Salvador, He moved to Utah in 2006 after he finished high school (he went to a boy catholic school). He got my associate of science at SLCC, attended film/animation school at the University of Utah, and has a master’s degree from Southern Utah University. I am currently Telemundo Utah's creative services manager, which is a fancy way of saying he manages all the marketing that Telemundo does in our Spanish-speaking community.

He lives in Millcreek with my dog Ice Cream, swim with QUAC, have an IKON pass, and has volunteered all over Utah since moving here. Volunteering has opened many doors for him and has helped me bring attention to LGBTQ+ issues at my different jobs. If you have seen QUAC's pride parade float, you have probably seen him walking the train in a speedo, and if you have been part of stonewall sports, he may have invited you to a pool party after playing with my kickball team. He is very outgoing and tries to be a part of the community.

Maxwell Christen

Born & raised in Salt Lake City, Maxwell is a TikTok recipe attempter, dog dad, avid Adweek reader, always DFF (Down For Food), and a previous Utah Business Magazine’s 20 in their 20s winner! When not working, Maxwell goes to dinner and bars with friends when not working, heading on a weekend trip, or antiquing in SLC!

JT Seumalu

JT attended Southern Utah University to study Communications and Political Science; however, his passion for performing drove him to pursue a professional singer & dancer career. JT served with the premier song & dance group Acclamation before moving to Salt Lake City to perform at Lagoon for several seasons. His next adventure was ten years at sea performing for Stiletto Entertainment and Royal Caribbean International, where he visited all seven continents and appeared as a featured entertainer. JT was also in the movie High School Musical and appeared on the hit TV show American Idol. JT is currently the lead singer & dancer in “Vegas! The Show” at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada.

James (Tamara) Banks (Knight)

Tamara Knight is a new drag performer who performs in Salt Lake City, Utah. Initially from Las Vegas, Nevada, Tamara never thought that Drag or entertainment would be a significant and transformative part of their life. By day she works in healthcare and pharmaceutical research and aspires to work as a physician. What makes Tamara unique is the dichotomy that is her life (a professional who works in science and healthcare by day and a glamorous stunting performer by night). Although having only done drag for a single year, Tamara performs weekly. She works hard to highlight and be a form of representation for Black artists and entertainers in Utah, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community, through messages in her performances or interactions with the people she meets.

Charles Bello

As a first-generation Latino and Miami, Florida native, Charles Bello has called Utah home for five years. His interests include hiking, skiing, traveling, cooking, and drinking a well-deserved Five Husbands cocktail on Friday evenings. His goals are to continue being a faithful and loyal friend and successful business owner, get married to his love, and start a family in the Beehive State!
