Celebrate Pride All Year Long.

LET'S GET ONE THING STRAIGHT

WE ARE NOT.

The Five Husbands brand was developed to add some energy to Utah’s Pride Festival held the first weekend in June each year.

“We are trying to poke a little fun at ourselves, support the LGBTQ+ community” said Steve Conlin, CEO of Ogden’s Own Distillery, “and add some discussion and enjoyment to the Utah culture.”The photo of the Five Husbands — with their six-pack stomachs — mimics the Ogden distillery’s popular Five Wives Vodka label, with women dressed in undergarments strategically covering their private parts with kittens.

The face of Conlin and other employees were “obviously photoshopped” onto the label, he said. "I have a six-pack, hidden by a pizza.” Jokes aside, the creation of Five Husbands Vodka also marks the first time in the Utah Pride Festival’s 44-year history that a local spirits company will be the primary liquor sponsor, explained Liz Pitts, director of community engagement for the Utah Pride Center.

In 2020 the company reissued the label with rainbow masks on the characters due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as made a hand sanitizer with the same image which sales of have helped the company to make donations to the Utah Pride Center at a time when fundraising is challenging.

FIVE HUSBANDS VODKA

ESTABLISHED 2017

Five Husbands Vodka, made from Utah mountain spring water, is a 100% distilled corn-spirit and totally gluten-free! It is distilled in a stainless steel column still and diluted to 40% (80 proof). The spring, hidden in beautiful Ogden Canyon is inaccessible by vehicle so the water is hiked out five gallons at a time... good thing all of our husbands are in mint condition!
